PTO & Volunteers
We welcome parent involvement at Torah Day School. Research shows that students whose parents are involved in their education generally achieve higher grades and test scores, attend school more regularly, do their homework more consistently and exhibit more positive attitudes and behavior. We encourage communication between parents and the school. Visit our contact page to see the various ways to stay in touch.
Many principals have found the PTO the best way to keep informed of the needs, wishes and general direction of a community. A representative group is in many ways a microcosm of the community and as such can be tremendously helpful in providing information and a crosspollination of ideas. The PTO initiates many fundraisers to purchase equipment which enriches the students.
At Torah Day School, the PTO sponsors many wonderful activities for the entire family. There is always an annual picnic, a bowling day and much more.
If you are interested in joining the PTO, please contact us in the school office.
